What is the mind when it is represented physically?

In INT. Mind, Juliacks gave audience members hospital gowns, foot coverings and ear cones that amplified the sound inside your head. The performance-installation was called Interior: Mind-resembling the slug line of a screenplay and harkening back to Andy Warhol’s film of the same title. Viewers entered a video and sound installation that represented the movement and associations of thought.

Sensually stimulating, the floor was covered with plastic tarp. Piles of turmeric and flour were placed on this ground. Viewers were given peanuts to amplify the sound inside of their head when they chewed. The space was designed so that the viewers could explore the sound of their mind and irrational collaborative movement.
